Week of
December 20 – 25, 2021
“I met a man who lives in Tennessee,
he was heading for,
Pennsylvania and some homemade pumpkin pie!
From Pennsylvania folks are travelin'
Down the Dixie sunny shore,
From Atlantic to Pacific, Gee the
traffic is terrific!”
And the traffic was terrific but we made it to Chadds Ford,
Pennsylvania, where we are celebrating an early Christmas with my long-time
friend, Marilyn. The kids, Will and Anne, will be arriving this afternoon and
we are looking forward to gathering around the dinner table this evening for a “Jim
Supper” and just catching up and enjoying the company of these folks we love so
much. And isn’t that what Christmas is all about?!
Just want to share a few photos of the various vignettes.
Monday, December 20th from 10 til 12 – Family Fun downstairs in Merrill Hall for our little ones and their parents…. A choice of activities, books, and some socializing! I bet this week will include some time outside in the snow!
which will begin the end of January.
Surely someone on your list would be delighted with a gift from our library!
Hours This Week – Monday 10 – 1 and
Wednesday 12 – 4
Yes, we will be closed
Saturday, Christmas Day!
Kickstart your week with a final visit to the library before Christmas to stock up on last minute gifts for the folks on your list as well as a stack of good reads for the quiet minutes you might find this coming weekend!
