You are invited!

Our Rumney Community Annual Christmas Tea

sponsored by the Rumney Historical Society and Byron G Merrill Library

will take place on Wednesday, December 20th from 6 until 8
at Byron G Merrill Library, 10 Buffalo Road, Rumney NH

Stop in for holiday music by our favorite Paul Ronci, sumptuous treats,
 time to visit with
neighbors and friends,
and an opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas
all in a festive setting!
You can even browse the shelves and take home a book or two!
We look forward to seeing you!

Prior to the Tea, you are invited to join us at 5 downstairs in Merrill Hall. We suggest that you park behind the library, come in the rear door and go directly downstairs (handicap accessible), where Rumney resident John Allen will read A Child's Christmas in Wales by Dylan Thomas. This is a delightful story where the narrator remembers his childhood Christmases in a busy Welsh town. This, too, has been a favorite holiday event through the years for many of us. At the end you are invited upstairs to enjoy the Christmas Tea.

Adult Fiction

Time's Mouth by Edan Lepucki

"Novels like Time's Mouth are rare: it's both delightful and emotional. Beyond the pleasures of time travel, all-female cults, and an ominous look at California's legacy of mysticism, the heart of Time's Mouth is a story of mothers and daughters."

Just Another Missing Person by Gillian McAllister

From the author of New York's Times bestseller, Wrong Place Wrong Time comes a new heart-stopping thriller in which a missing-person case unravels deeper, darker secrets that lead a detective to an impossible moral choice.

Fairy Tale and If It Bleeds by Stephen King

Fairy Tale- Legendary storyteller Stephen King goes into the deepest well of his imagination in this spellbinding novel about a seventeen-year-old boy who inherits the keys to a parallel world where good and evil are at war, and the stakes could not be higher- for that world or ours.

If It Bleeds- In this book, King gives readers four brilliant new short stories sure to prove as iconic as their predecessors. Reader favorite Holly Gibney is back in the title story!

The Only One Left by Riley Sager

Bestselling author Riely Sager returns with a deliciously twisty and addictive Gothic chiller about a young caregiver assigned to work for a woman accused of a Lizzie Borden-like massacre decades earlier.

The Exchange by John Grisham

A stunning new legal thriller that marks the return of Mitch McDeere, the brilliant hero of The Firm
